We are getting married!

Join us on the 22th of August 2026 in Bogotá, Colombia, to celebrate this special day with us.
We can't wait to have you there!

Our story

We met for the first time in Lisbon during our exchange period in 2019. A few years later, we reconnected in Milan while doing our Master's. After a rocky start (Lorenza even tried to “friend-zone” Alberto!). Love won out, and we've been together ever since. Now, we are starting a new chapter together in Zurich, and we can't wait to celebrate our wedding with You!

Colombia 101: Travel Tips

For our guests traveling from afar, here is some helpful information for your trip.

Flights from Europe

Round-trip flights from Europe to Bogotá start at about €900 when booked in advance. We are coordinating with a travel agency to offer packages departing from Milan on 9th August and returning on 24th August. If you are interested, please let us know in the RSVP!

A Note on Security

A key local saying is "No dar papaya". It means don't make yourself an easy target. Be aware of your surroundings and take care of your personal belongings.

Getting Around

Public transportation can be inefficient for visitors. We highly recommend using ride-sharing apps like Uber or Cabify for a safe and convenient way to navigate the city.

Cash is King

While cards are widely accepted, some smaller shops and taxis operate on a cash-only basis. It's a good idea to have some Colombian Pesos (COP) on hand for daily expenses.
For a better exchange rate we highly recommend Revolut

Stay Connected

To avoid high roaming charges, consider getting a local SIM card at the airport or using an eSIM service like Saily (Referral code: ALBERT2447) before you travel. This will give you much more affordable data to navigate and stay in touch.
